- Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible applicants.
- Applying does not guarantee you will receive a bursary.
- Funds will remain available until all have been allocated.
To improve your chances of receiving funding, ensure your documents are ready and apply early.
What Happens After Submission?
Your online application will be assessed to determine eligibility.
- If approved, funds will be reserved for you, and you will be notified via email.
Each stage of the application process may take up to 30 days for review and approval. Payments are deposited 30 days after the relevant form has been approved.
Funding Release
Once you begin your Health Care Aide (HCA) program, you are required to pay the tuition upfront. If your bursary application is approved, you will be reimbursed afterward.
The distribution of funds is as follows:

TBP Workplace Bursary
HCA Workplace bursary recipients will receive a one-time payment of $3,800
Secure Payment Method
Funds are securely deposited via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
Tax Information
T4A slips will be mailed out at the end of February to all applicants who have received bursary funds.
