Who Can Apply?

You are a Canadian permanent resident or citizen.
You are enrolled in or a graduate of a full time Health Care Aide (HCA) program in Alberta. Your program must have started on or after July 1, 2022.
You agree to meet all the Return of Service Agreement conditions.

Who Cannot Apply?

International students are not eligible.
Students enrolled in the HCA ELL (English Language Learner) program are not eligible.
Students enrolled in an HCA Workplace program are not eligible.
Individuals who graduated prior to July 1, 2022, are not eligible.

Important Note: if you are receiving any other funding or sponsorship (federal or provincial) to attend an Alberta-licensed HCA program, you must disclose this information to ABhcabursaries@norquest.ca. You may still qualify for funding; however, the amounts may vary.
