Available funding

  • Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible applicants.
  • Applying does not guarantee you will receive a bursary.
  • Funds will remain available until all have been allocated.

To improve your chances of receiving funding, ensure your documents are ready and apply early.

 What Happens After Submission?

Your online application will be assessed to determine eligibility.

  • If approved, funds will be reserved for you, and you will be notified via email.
  • Funds will be released in two installments upon meeting specific criteria and submitting required documents correctly.

Each step of the application process can take up to 30 days. Payments are deposited 45 days after the relevant form is approved

Funding Release

Once you begin your Health Care Aide (HCA) program, you are required to pay the tuition upfront. If your bursary application is approved, you will be reimbursed afterward.

After completing Courses 1-5 and submitting your official transcript.

Second/Final Installment

$6,000

After successfully completing your HCA program, including the Provincial exam.


Secure Payment Method

Funds are securely deposited via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Tax Information

Your bursary funds are non-taxable. T4A slips will be mailed out at the end of February to all applicants who have received bursary funds.
